A general purpose grade of activated carbon with a very high degree of efficiency. Carefully selected sawdust charcoal is activated by steam and gases and pulverised to the size required. Substances to be treated include glycerine, methyl esters, edible oil, fructose, sugar, organic acids, industrial chemicals, pharmaceutical intermediates.
